Important Questions
To Ask Before Choosing Your Phalloplasty Surgeon
So you've finally decided to get the
penis enlargement you've been thinking about for some time. The only
thing to do now... is to find the right surgeon who can assure you'll
receive the best success without any problems.
To begin, it's EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to
realize that not all surgeons perform penis enlargement, or Phalloplasty.
The fact is... very, very few perform this difficult procedure on A
REGULAR BASIS.
Read our new section on The
Risks of Surgery.
True, many surgeons will say they perform
penis enlargement surgery. Many will even say they do it regularly.
But, the key is to find someone fully qualified, that performs the procedure
AT LEAST 6-7 TIMES PER MONTH. That means, the surgeon you choose,
should average approximately two per week.
Why is this SO IMPORTANT?
Because Phalloplasty is a specialty operation...
more so, than most people realize. Here's why —
-
The penis is composed of a variety
of specialized tissues and is NOT a muscle, like many people think.
It more closely resembles a sponge that fills will blood when the
person is aroused. The tissues of the two cavernosa that make up the
sides and bottom of the penis can't be replaced if someone makes
a mistake by not having the experience to surgically enlarge the
penis. This is very important during the thickening stage. The bottom
line is that it's critical to have the expertise—gained from
performing thousands of Phalloplasties. This knowledge is ONLY GAINED
by performing this procedure regularly. Dr. Giunta has performed almost
four thousand penis enlargement procedures in the last 12 years.
He is well known as one of the very best at this procedure.
-
Another important consideration during your selection process...
is the issue dealing with likelihood of infection. THIS ASPECT OF
THE PROCEDURE SHOULD NOT EVER BE DISCOUNTED LIGHTLY AS SOMETHING THAT
WON'T OCCUR. Especially if you choose a surgeon who elects to use
the method of implanting foreign tissue into the enlargement process.
Many surgeons use cadaver flesh, treated, for thickening the penis.
Sometimes this involves a product called Alloderm®. The fact is, EVEN THE MANUFACTURER OF ALLODERM WON'T RECOMMEND IT FOR USE IN
PHALLOPLASTY (penis enlargement). If the surgeon you're about
to select hasn't performed Phalloplasty on a regular basis, or is
using a foreign material to introduce into the procedure other than
your own tissue, there is a higher likelihood of an increased risk
of infection. ANY infection in this area will make you wish you hadn't
taken a chance on a surgeon that DIDN'T HAVE THE SUCCESSFUL TRACK
RECORD of performing thousands of these procedures without using implants
or foreign materials.
HERE ARE A FEW CRITICAL QUESTIONS YOU
SHOULD ASK YOUR PROSPECTIVE SURGEON BEFORE YOU DECIDE ON HAVING PENIS
ENLARGEMENT:
-
How many penis
enlargements did the surgeon you are considering do last month? How
many last week? How many in the last three months? Just remember,
Phalloplasty requires that the surgeon isn't merely a "visitor"
to this type of surgery—but someone who is a "regular".
-
Ask the surgeon if you can speak with his most
recent penis enlargement patients. Most surgeons who perform this
procedure regularly won't have a problem letting you speak with their
former patients.
- Ask him if he's ever had any complications from
infection. A poor decision, based on cost, or lack of experience can
come back to haunt you, the next time you attempt to go to the bathroom...
