What is the medical principle behind the Helping Hand Extender?

The Helping Hand Extender is based in the medical principle of traction. When used in a controlled, gradual and progressive manner it will stimulate the growth of the suspensory ligament, corpus cavernosum, and the rest of the penile tissues.

Has the principle of traction been used in medicine before?

Yes. In modern medicine this principle of traction is used to create new tissue for skin grafts, for the elongation of bones and to create new hair grafts to cover bald areas. Also this principle has been used in ancient cultures to create long necks like in the Giraffe women of Birmania and to create longer lips in certain African tribes.

But can the penile tissues grow? Is the penis made of bone or muscles?

The penis is a conglomerate of elastic tissues and is devoid of muscles and bones making it easier for this tissue to respond and grow when placed in traction.

What is the maximum growth in inches that I can obtain?

Individual results may vary, but generally, approximately 1-1/2 inches can be achieved.

Which is the minimum growth that can be obtained?

The minimum growth is about half an inch. The average growth is a bit over one inch, based on 95% of the patients reporting.

Is there growth both on erection and flaccidity?

Yes, the growth is proportional and it will be evident in erection as well as in flaccidity.

Will it help to correct penile curvatures?

Are the results permanent?

Will the glans (penis head) also grow?

No. Only the penile shaft will grow. The sensitivity of the glans will not be affected.

Are there any side effects?

Yes, the minimum length in erection must be 3.15 inches. For penises less than 10cm in length the "Mini" extender must be used.

Can a minor use this treatment?

A minor can use the treatment if he is between 14 and 16 years of age, as long as there is parental consent and medical supervision. It is preferred that the patient be at least 18 years of age.

What is the ideal age to begin the treatment?

From 18 years on. And, the treatment can be done in older men. Our research included men 60 to 70 years of age and it showed that traction would stimulate the growth of tissues at any age.

How is this method different from penile vacuum pumps?

Vacuum pumps work by suctioning the tissues to obtain an immediate and abrupt vasodilatation. The results obtained are temporary, lasting only up to 12 hours. Frequently they will cause capillary rupture, fibrosis, hematomas and over a long term may alter the capability of penile erection. Vacuum pumps are a sex-shop item and not a medical device.

When I am done with the treatment, can someone else use the device?

It is not advised to share the device with others.

Is there any pain?

No, this product is a mechanical device and when used correctly, is painless. At first, the user may experience slight discomfort from the presence of device, but in time this sensation will soon disappear.

Should I remove product when urinating or defecating?

Yes.

Should I remove the product before having sexual intercourse?

Yes. It is advised to wait one hour before placing it back onto penis.

Is blood circulation reduced in the penis?

No. Simply follow the product's instructions carefully to avoid discomfort.

Can it be worn at night?

Yes, although some patients report waking up with the device dislocated because of normal nightly turning. In these cases, the product should only be worn 3 hours per night. We recommend that the product not be worn at night during the first few days of usage or until you feel totally comfortable with it.

If I have an erection with the stretcher on, what will happen?

You might feel a little more pressure than usual, but it should be painless.

Can I use the stretcher with a bathing suit?

With loose fitting clothing the device is not noticeable.

Can I wear jeans or tight-fit clothing while using the extender?

We recommend loose fitting clothing while wearing the device.

If I am sitting for a long length of time, can I use the product?

Yes, we will tell you how to modify the stretcher for these types of cases.

Will the extender rust if exposed to water? Can it be washed and how?

This product will not rust. The certification guarantees that product is free of defects and has been inspected. The extender can be washed once a week with mild soap and water.

If I accidentally break one of the pieces, what should I do?

Contact our office to replace the product.

Must the device be oiled or greased?

Not at first. However, we do recommend that you apply small amounts of oil on the bars to enable it to slide up and down with ease.

When my treatment is finished must I return product?

No, the stretcher is yours to keep once purchased.

After obtaining an increase in size, what will happen if I continue using the device?

You may obtain an increase of a few fractions of an inch, but the increase will be slow.

How long should I wait be between product usage?

The product should be worn 9 hours per day. We do recommend a rest period every 2 hours when it should be removed. You need not follow a rigid rest period schedule. This depends on the sensitivity of the patient.

What will happen if I go one day without using the Helping Hand Extender?

Nothing. But try wearing it a bit longer the next day.

When my treatment is over, should I continue using the Helping Hand Extender until I obtain maximum results?

No, maximum results will have already been obtained.

After finishing my treatment, is it possible to receive a penis lipo-filling through surgery?

Yes. This surgical procedure will allow for a thicker penis size, giving it a more cylindrical shape while adding width. This process will not affect the sensitivity of penis. This is a very simple process that we do by extracting fatty acids from the abdomen and injecting it into along the perimeter of the penis. These fatty acids will remain permanently in the penis.

Are there any risks or secondary effects involved?

May I consume alcohol or barbiturates while using the extender?

Is the slight pressure that is caused by the device harmful or painful?
